For those who are thinking of going to Italy, here are some highlights from my recent trip.
In Milan, The Armani Milano Hotel offered excellent service, food, accommodations. It is located near high-end shopping and The Brera District (unique local shops with a Bohemian feel).
Guests of Armani Milano have guaranteed access to Armani Prive, a private members only exclusive nightclub which is “THE” place to be seen in Milan. Be sure to wear all black.
I took a scenic train ride to Cortona and checked in at La Corte Dei Papi, a family owned hotel and restaurant.
Dinner was simply amazing and Michelin Star worthy.
I also visited the Talosa Winery in Montepulciano. The Vineyard is located just outside of town but the wine cellar is right in the town center.
My tour guide Christian was so knowledgeable and made it well worth the visit and Shopping was amazing.
Gucci had a café on the top floor with a wonderful selection of Italian food and wine for lunch.
I stayed at Portrait Firenze overlooking the Arno River, two blocks from the Ponte Vecchio. They had beautiful rooms, an excellent staff,
and a delightful breakfast. It is only a short 5 min walk to The Uffizi Museum.
Tucked behind the Basilica of Santa Croce, you will find local
artisans creating leather goods. It is a great place to pick up all of your travel gifts, to remind you of beautiful Florence.
I look forward to sharing more of my Italy experience with you and making your next trip just as memorable.
